Quake 4 and Mods

Anyone have Quake 4, and if so is it good and are the mods good? Specifically Rocket Arena 4. I was thinking about getting it just caused I liked RA3 so much.

I saw Quake 4 in the store the other day... when the hell did it come out? Did anyone care?

any input?..

i only play shooting games, and all i have is tfc and bf2 in my comp.
i get bored from those 2 easily..so i need another substitution

RA4 isn't out yet, and I dread the day that it does come out, because RA3 already doesn't have tons of players these days :(

Are they really going to succeed with a "Fortress" mod for Q4? There was also supposed to be a Doom3Fortress that never came about.

when they found out about Q4 they decided to stop production on the Doom3 version and use Quake4 because of its modifications to the D3 engine.
