I guess we'll just have to agree to agree that the 360 is the best console of all time.

And you can't own a SNES...You should own a modded Xbox with every emulated game ever made on there... that's the only way to do it :cool:

You can't be serious with that first statement. 360 the best console ever? If you equate best with horsepower only, then yes, it is to this point, the best console ever. It has a top 2 controller, in my book, and a very weak library of games. And they make you pay for online play. Not the greatest ever, will probably be the third greatest of this generation.

Obviously our opinions differ.

I'm not talking horsepower necessarily. I don't mind paying for online... The Xbox is the only console that's ever had an acceptable online system. And because online gaming is so important that pretty much puts it up near the top on it's own.

The controller is the best I've ever used (again IMO) and the achievement system is excellent (also something we've never seen before).

Weak library of games? Sure if you stack up the CURRENT lineup against the lifelong lineup of games on the Snes, PS1, PS2...actually any console...it's not going to stand up. However if you look at the current lineup and stack it against the lineup that any console had 6 months after launch...I think the 360 has the best.

Again...it's all a matter of opinion. It's a 360 thread so I'll share it here. It's not like I'm going to enter a Rev or PS3 thread and obnoxiously proclaim the 360 as the best :D

I will say that the new 360 interface is kick ass, even though its just a pimped version of Steam. I still have yet to see screenies of the PS3 interface, but since they've got access to XBL it's damn sure they will revise theirs to equal or beat it.
