my friend's computer is getting this error message when he starts his computer.

so on microsoft's website (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=297185) it said that it could be because of the cable or it's a damaged file system.

i'm guessing it's not the cable because he never changed the cable or anything and it was working before....but on the site it's a damage file system if the stop error is 0xC0000032. his stop error is 0xC0000006. does that mean it's still a damage file system and i should still try the chkdsk command? or what else could be wrong?

EDIT: Nevermind, that did the trick
