The catch? You can only get as high as Battle Rank 6 (out of 25). Not bad considering you get a year of free play. Once you hit that BR, you can continue to play, you just won't be able to achieve higher ranks. Not as big of a deal as you might think since higher ranks don't make you anymore powerful, just allow you to be more flexible.
For people unfamiliar to the game, it's a MMOFPS. You pick one of the three factions and fight it out on one of eight continents. Vehicular combat is heavily featured in the game - you can drive or gun for a ton of different vehicles, some that hover over water, some that fly, lots of options here.
