I like the XFX 7900 gt. I am getting that one.

If you get the 7900 GT, I'd get one that comes clocked higher out of the box.

The one you linked to is only 470 MHz on the core with a 1370 MHz effective memory clock rate.

For a few bucks more, you can get a 520/1500 version:

oh, thanks for pointing that out :) . only thing im not liking is that guys review that says "Cons: Not as stable with FPS as the 7800GTX. Card cannot handle HDR with AA enabled otherwise game gets awfully choppy. Nvidia needs drivers to fix performance issues. My old 6600GT handles some games better than this card."

I try to make it a point to not read through most of the reviews on newegg as they tend to be somewhat biased. I generally try to google a review for it from a reputable place. Either way I am sure you will be quite happy.

I dont base my choices on "what people say". I base them on how many stars overall the product gets in the reviews. If its 3-5 i ususally just buy the product and I have yet to get a bad product.

the stars are just a different way to represent what people say.. they're just as useless (to a point)

do what Janus suggested.
