well, it looks like old clan BEER is out of 9v9 for a while.. pulled out of tfl and sta 9v9 and plays only 5v5 sta and 7v7 in ugc..

I play semi-pro pool on sunday afternoons so ugc is out..

i detest 5v5 play (sacrilegious to us old skool tfc guys not having more players)

so, that leaves me in a quandry.. what to do..

guess it means i am looking for a 9v9 clan again.

Me:

been playing tfc since day 1..

I suck at defense.. hwguy, soldier.. and totally blow at everything else on d..
I suck on offense too.. medic/scout/demo/soldier.. everything else, we don't even talk about.. forget it..

i got a mic, know how to use it (besides pluggin it in). unlike some, i can really yell into it when needed..

been a defensive captain in the past (when no one else would do it.. we immediately went on a 75-game losing streak..)

been an offensive captain too.. ( we didn't get a single cap or even a flag touch in the 6 months i did that either.. so, we lost another 75 games in a row..)

and no, this doesn't mean i want to be a captain again and go on another epic losing streak. just looking to play and have some fun. i don't play lame (no offy potshooting, etc.. i am a good guy..sorta..that's why i lose a lot), and i don't expect those around me to play lame either. i am in this to win a few, hopefully lose fewer still and have some laughs.. I can honestly say that i have had my ass kicked by every great player out there and clan that probably has existed. If they played, i played against them and probably lost. (did win a few too, but not many)

yeah.. charlotte area.. APA and 8-ball express.. been to vegas finals a couple of times.. 33rd nationally. made 5 grand and got a free trip, expenses paid.. so, i don't ugc on sundays for obvious reasons.. :D

and yes, i am ranked a 7 now.. after sandbaggin for years as a 6, they finally got me.. sheeesh.. in 8-ball express, i am an 8 too.. got me there.. so, no more sandbagging.. sucks..

i got picked up by ARES guys, so i am off the market..

thanks for the interest and the invites from many classy clans.. i was surprised by the amount of interest by some of the higher up clans.. astonished and pleased.. thanks to everyone and i will not forget some of the kind words said by some.. (And will forget the ones that told me to f*ck off some too.. :D )


i believe i found another home with a bunch of old farts in ARES.. bomber, blargh, md44, lots of older guys here, so looks like i got a home that is gonna last.
