Well, as some of you may already know, XD is back with me coming back to play. I'm more of a liason for the guild rather than a top soldier these days since I haven't played in a long time, but what I think the guild needed was a leadership role in place and that's what I'm here to do. That being said, we have something VERY cool in the works but we need some more members for it to work out as planned.

P.S. I commend Verse on doing a great job with the OD tournament. I actually saw your post after I had already planned this so in no way do I want you to think like I'm stealing your idea or anything, it's just part of the bigger picture that I will reveal when this is over. Not like DM tourneys are new, but you get what I mean :P

Merc, I'm giving signups a week (so Thursday would be the last day) and i'll see how many people are there after that. I made the bracket last night for a field of 64, and after yesterday (two days) i have 23 signups, so if i don't get enough for a field of 64 i'll redo the bracket on thursday for however many we do get, and we'll start probably saturday, with each match having to be played within a week, so from saturday, to saturday, to saturday (for each match), etc..

also, sorry for the double post, but the tourney signups officially end this thursday, 4/13/06 and the matches will officially start this saturday, 4/15/06. each match will have a week to be played before the match will be forfeited and a bye will be given to whoever reports first (or a different way of handling this, maybe a case by case basis to see how many times each person tried to contact the other without succeeding, i havent decided on this yet).

anyway, currently i think 28 players have signed up, so if we cant get a full 64 by thursday i will cut it into a 32 player tourney. you still have four days to sign up so if you're wanting to be in the tourney please sign up ASAP. thanks.

I made it based on the Q3F death match map. I don't remember the name of it though. It doesn't have the little spawn area though. It just drops you into position and you go. It's rather fun. No grenades also. just rockets

ass_dm is pretty fun imo. Its a cylinder map, about 1/2 the room of a mulch_dm room.

just wanted to let everyone know that tomorrow is the last day for signups and i'll be making the bracket probably friday and the tourney will start saturday.

currently, 35 players have signed up, so i'll have to find a way to deal with that (rather than 32). unless a massive amount of people sign up in the next day, i may have to force those guys to be alternates or work out a bracket that will work with the amount of people who have signed up, which i have somewhat of an idea for. in any case, the more that sign up the better and it'll be easier to fill this bracket out. Thanks.
