Yeah, I'm wondering if theres any stores out there that carry used SNES games. If worse comes to worst I can try to find what I want online, but it'd be easier if there were any stores that still sell them.

Rhinos, if you have one in your city.

That's the only place i know of, other than flea markets and pawnshops.

But Rhinos deals in used games; they're good in my books.

GameStops around here used to have a few that they traded in for sale.

Be willing to shell out a lot of money if you are looking for RPG games (the main ones).

Eh, luckily im not looking too hard for RPGs, although if I do come upon a cheap one I'd definately pick it up. I just want good time relievers.

I've never heard of Rhino's. Google tells me the closest one is 3 hours away :/. I called up GameStop and they dont sell them anymore.

if youre lucky, you can sometimes find them at movie/game rental stores. if you dont see them out i would ask if they have any jammed in a dusty box they would sell.

do you mean major chains like blockbuster, or independantly owned ones? i'll have to research some of the latter.

my ex girlfriend is pretty much insisting that she buys me a bunch of games from the gamestop near her house. shes going to even ship them to me for free. I almost feel bad :[

You got it good if your ex is gonna do that lol. But yea, Blockbuster sometimes will have a cart/rack with games in it you can buy. More often it will be like PS2/Xbox games now, but it wouldn't hurt to ask if they have SNES games. Just call them (or other places) before you go to make sure.

EBGames, Gamestop, Babbages, Software Etc, and Blockbuster Video all carry used SNES games, although they are probably becoming less available. Of course, there's always eBay.

I'm sure there are others, but that's all I can think of that I have available around here.

Mario RPG is great, but I couldn't sell it to you in good faith, because lately the memory seems to be erasing itself. I lost my file with 100 super jumps :(

Do you guys just not use emus?

lb_
May 1st, 2006, 11:03 PM
aw :[.

I just cant get used to emus. They feel so.. so different than playing with the SNES controller and the SNES cartridges, and it being on the tv and whatnot. Playing mariokart with what feels like a shitty ps2 ripoff controller just pisses me off too much :[

I got an SNES with mario kart and DK Country for 35 shipped, so I'm not complaining. I just want a few more games to cure my boredom on long, eventless days.

lb, there are adapters for the original SNES controllers, as well as cables that allow you to play on your TV. I use this for my N64 emu.

yeah, i heard they were rereleasing 6, but I thought it was supposed to be on GBA.

I dunno, I say it's kool to have the originals (even if they did give us the jacked up order)

Wish they were releasing III on ps2, or something i had. I dont wanna buy a ds just to finally play III.

Bp-2X
May 4th, 2006, 10:14 AM
V and VI will be release on the GBA
IV is already release (i got it ^-^)
III will be release on the DS but it will be in 3d ?!? they should really leave it 2d and put it on the GBA...

Magus
May 4th, 2006, 11:56 AM
VI you can already get on the PS2 with Chrono Trigger, so no biggie there.
