Anyone here ever worked at Chili's before?
if so, what is their stupid training test like? What is the format of it? I'm studying the menu, but it's kind of retarded, I can't imagine a testing system over this

I motherfucking agree to the max. It's all I get, ever. Now that I get free food there, I think that is all I'll be living off of soon.

Haven't been there in a while. But I remember their alcoholic coffee drink they had was really good. Baileys I think?

Yeah, Baileys. Now shut the fuck up, this isn't a discussion about the greatness of Chili's it's about how much I should waste my time looking at their stupid paper menu to pass my day 1 and day 2 tests that I don't need to take since I know more about waiting than their current staff combined.

I work at Chevy's... 8.50 an hour :) For the format at my work, I did a week of training with one of our hostess' after that one week of learning bits of the menu and just knowing what to do, I was supposed to take a test but they never asked me... I talked to the hostess' and the servers and they all said they never took theres because the managers didn't care... as long as you have your food handlers licence you should be all good... they don't expect you to memorize the menu in one week... takes a while to memories that shizzle.

When I was at the gym my roomate started talking to these two guys she knew, they both worked at Chili's, and they were both complete idiots. So, if you fail, it's down the road not across the street.

I actually just got back from Chili's, it's only 2 blocks away from our building. I opted for my other most favorite item... Buffalo Chicken Ranch Sandwich. Bada fuckin bing.
I may be going back for happy hour after work! woot!

Actually those guys may have been idiots, but their test is actually pretty detailed. I didn't fail, but I can easily see it being a real possibility.

Chicken Crispers rule, especially if you get them to make it using the "awesome blossom" batter.
The test can't be that hard considering the servers who get hired. Most are ok, others, well...they aren't the sharpest-knife-in-the-drawer. My father-in-law asked if their steaks were tender, the waitress responds, "well sure, we can cook them however you'd like..medium..welldone". He said..."well ok, but are they tender..." same response from the waitress. So I kindly suggested to him to order the Chicken Crispers.
