Sound card

I have an Asus P4P800 Deluxe mobo and I just got a 5.1 speakers. Do I need to buy a 5.1 sound card for all the speakers to work? If so, which is the best you guys could recommend me to buy? Anything under $30 would be great, but if really worth it, I might go overbudget.

i dont think ud need them for the speakers to work, but u might not get the sound quality capable of the speakers.

I don't know about the motherboard, but check your manual for how to plug them in. It varies from board to board.
