I need to get a keylogger and was wondering if anyone here has used one or knows about one that is pretty good. I am willing to pay for it but I don't want to spend a ton of $$ on it.

Monitoring te computer my daughter uses. I trust her, but worry about the other sick fuck out there on the interweb.. :(

i may be seeing this wrong, but i dont think keyloggers log anything other than what you type. if you worry about what people say to her on AOL or AIM, then you can have the convo's get logged to the harddrive in .html form (well atleast DeadAIM does this, not sure about AOL tho). and if she has her own comp in her room, dont let her close the door. shes hiding something ;p

The 3 or 4 trial ones I've used take screenshots. The current one take a ss every time someone hit enter or right clicks the screen.

I think I'm gonna but that one, its like $40 and as far as I'm conserned, well worth it.

She doesn't have a computer in her own room but she is hiding something because she slides the chat window up so nobody can see what she is typing, then scrolls down to read replys.

You're prolly correct. She is 12. The only thing I ever see her talking about is Spyro, Sonic and Shadow them HedgeHogs and drawing.

BUT.. she has admitted that the one guy (read BOY) she talks to is 15 and after hanging around this community for the last 6-7 years i am fully aware of what 15 year old internet nerds are thinking about... :D

I will have none of that happen... lol

find a keylogger that does both screenshots and logs all the keys.. between the two, you will get a great idea of what is going on. i have used a few in my time.. just google up keyloggers and see what there is to offer..

If she uses AIM, try installing middleman.

AIM opens up normaly and you can't tell its even there really, only way you can tell is by clicking MyAIM. I doubt she knows enough to be able to tell its running or what it all means even if she does see "Middleman". It logs all covos she has and posts dates and times.

She doesn't use AIM or any of those type of chat programs. She only goes to a few chatrooms on deviantart, which are web-based and damn near impossible to log.

I have been using this (http://downloads-zdnet.com.com/All-In-One-Keylogger/3000-2132_2-10545468.html) as a trial and it takes screenshots.

Don't question her abilitys, she went through me "programs" folder, for PSP and the crack, burned it to a cd and installed it flawlessly on another computer WITHOUT being told how. I guess she watches too much.

Time to move the pron under a new folder name...
