Widescreen LCD Resolutions

I'm wanting to get a widescreen LCD that has a resolution of 1440x900 and I was just wondering if most video cards support this resolution. I'm planning on getting an xfx 7600gt.

Your videocard will support it. I have used a GeForce Mx4400 with 1440x900.. so the videocard dosn't have to be awesome or anything...

Most video cards support most video resolutions (including widescreen) if they are less than 2-3 years old (or even more in a lot of cases).

i had a 7600 and it ran fine in widescreen.

i got an 9800 pro agp (ie older) and runs like butta on my 19" widescreen lcd @ 1440x900
