[HELP] Losing connection frequently [HELP]

So lately it's been real hot, and that's what I thought was the problem(because I have no clue about computers) and my connection keeps getting lost. I can't figure out what it is, I'll be playing Wc3 and all of the sudden I get dropped and I know it's me. I tried using a router because I've never had problems before but that didn't work either. If anyone can help it would be appreciated. Thanks

Few things: first make sure you don't have any kind of virus and/or spyware on your computer. Those things can interrupt connections a lot. Second, double check the cable going to and from your modem to make sure both ends are secure and it's not all fucked up somewhere along the casing. Lots of times those little "tabs" will break off of ethernet cables and then they slide out very easily.

If it's neither of those things, then call your ISP. The only other thing it could be on your end is a bad NIC card, but your ISP should be able to verify one way or the other.
