I win the bad day award...just got home from work, our last call was a guy who shot himself in the head over his landlord not fixing things in a timely manner...and the weather was crummy outside. He survived to the first ER where he was stabilized and then the helicopter flight to the trauma center downtown...where he died. Our truck was a disaster in back...there was blood everywhere, my partner was covered in it, literally elbow deep in this guy's blood...dammit...I need a hug. :(
