All the places that this guy drove through were busy and crowded places that I(and probably most people in the Bay Area) usually frequent. This is pretty surreal to me. I can picture in my head the routes that he went into. Did not really want to recognize any names of the victims at all.

I hope this guy doesn't get off on the insanity/mental problems plea.

Also, for context, apparently he started in Fremont. That's about 60 miles and 5 cities away from San Francisco.

I didn't hear about this until yesterday.

I live in Pacific Heights/Cow Hollow in the City and this guy hit my mom's (parked) car (I just talked to her on the phone earlier today). It was parked on Fillmore and California (I live on Fillmore and Union, about 7 blocks away). My mom was inside a store at the time and luckily wasn't hurt. She came out to see a massive side swipe on her brand new car.

She's talked to her insurance provider and our car dealer and it seems like they're being cooperative and are replacing the car. Sorry I don't have pics, I told her to email them to me.

But yeah this guy is crazy.
