STA 5v quandry

DMS are, and have been, title holders for some time now due to (and I know this is mainly our fault, albeit thrust upon us ) disputes in titleshots and matches preceeding one. The fuct/UK title shot match last week is 'pending' still. If we (-UK-) win that dispute then surely our 6-4 win over DMS last night would of meant we'd be the new title holders.

I'm not saying you can go back in time and make that match a title match should the dispute swing our way (plus DMS can claim they didn't have their a-string out - although the strength of our team coupled with how they made us work makes that unlikely.. ), I'm just looking for clarification as to who will be the new title challengers if there was just another title shot match played last night, that zT won. Will we or fuct now have to play zT to see who plays DMS, further delaying a resolution to DMS' future? A second title shot of title shotters!

/Edit Would of been nice if the dispute was resolved before Tuesday, of course, so that our good friend Nazgul could of schedueled a title match! Alas, but I'm not one to criticise the response time of you guys (RL and all that).

No, that was us :P . We disputed fuct last match and they kicked up a hell of a fuss in these forums; the previous week bE disputed us and so we disputed them back. Anyway that's irrelevant to the matter at hand.

it doesn't work that way. title holders often play non-title matches, and win or lose they still hold the title. to win the the title, a team must be selected for a title shot, win that match, and then win the following title match against either the current title holders or the winner of a different title shot match.

You'd be wrong. Like I said, we've disputed just the once in 5v5 (if you exclude bE - we disputed them AFTER they disputed us, mainly for kicks - not that they didn't break the rules).

the dispute winner will have won a title shot and will play for the title once the dispute is completed.

i think the only time we played all d was when 2 of our players dropped and you sent your defense to spam our respawns.

Well noone really came up with any official way things happen in these scenarios, so I'm gonna go ahead and assume we and fuct will have to queue for another title shot.

No need to continue the argument, darksoldier (worryingly listed as a clan contact for these guys) is clearly someone you can't have, in anyway, a cohesive or satisfactory argument with. His blatant idiocy (or maybe an unfortunate mixture of an inability to write and a very confrontational e-attitude) should not allow any of you to derive any sense of achievement in doing so - Kapn you already went down this road in the 5v5 Silver forum m8 . It's obvious dark feels his team were wrongly disputed, whilst we defend a justification. There, simple :D

my guess would be when zt plays dms for the title whoever wins gets put aside a week, winners of us v. fuct play winners of ktp vs br in a title shot match, then winner of that plays winner of dms/zt in title match in 3 weeks. idk if that's quite how it works but seems like it makes sense to me.
