"leaked' TF2 trailer now on Steam in HD

Didnt check to see if anyones previously said this, just noticed when I showed my class the HD trailer today. After watching the HD version of the trailer I was able to make out/read the captions above the class's name.

The sniper's confused me, as it could perhaps be indicated a new ability for him. Caption Reads: "Purple cloud of death." Then it shows the sniper with a purple faced watch on his arm. Perhaps the sniper will be getting somewhat of a smoke grenade addon? If that's the case, I think that is pretty sweet

Some thing else that kinda of made me go "huh?" was when the scout's caption came up the scenes tag was named "Rapid Recovery" and his caption reading "Too. Much. Caffiene." I obviously understand the caffiene part, but are they possibly adding health regeneration to the scout? Cool again!

As awesome as that would be (scout health recovery), I think they're talking about recovering the flag.

Oh, and I think it's "pink cloud of death" for the sniper (at least in the leaked version of the trailer).

I love how the soldiers drop the RPG when they die. There's one jump where it has to be a grenade jump because it looks like the soldier is coming from his own batts to the batts on the other base. He just flies a lot further than the rocket jumps they're showing.

Here is my interpretation on "Pink cloud of death"

Either, there is still the red dot effect on the player who is about to get head shot, OR, perhaps headshots = puff of blood out of the head? Idk... Or, smoke grenades, it would be nice if you could see through your own colored grenade, but no one else could.... That could over power the sniper though. :cool:

i heard a rumor that medics have been reduced to the respawn room, using a medic instead of health and armor. Its the truth.

Watch the video closely and you will see him. You see him to the left of the entrance to the base as the scout is running in and again behind some boxes by the spiral stairs that come up from the water right before the scout takes the long hallway to the ramp room. He isn't doing anything in this video because at this time I don't think they had the medic's abilities finalized.

He looks like he's in the respawn room to me. I think Newman is right, the med looks stationary and probably acts as a health / armor dispenser. I read on the TF2 forums that he can probably blow hot air and dry your hands too.
