For the past two summers I have been wanting to make an AVI. Last summer I never got around to it, so in the beginning of this summer I was determined to make one. During the first month of [INC], I told everyone to record their matches and send me footage so that I could make a clan AVI. The summer went on and no one wanted to give me footage... So, in late July I decided to make my own AVI with my match demos and other footage (2v2 3v3 4v4 gather, etc.). On my way to work each day I would listen to CDs and try to pick out songs for a future AVI. However, the summer days flew by and I never got around to making one.

The past week I was browsing this forum and I downloaded a couple of AVIs to watch. That was it... I had to make one. I decided to spend my last week of summer making an AVI (I took the week off from work to pack for college). I told everyone in [INC] that I was going to make one and Rab said that he had some match footage that could be put into an AVI. So we both decided to make an AVI consisting of plays from [INC]'s matches. I spent all day Sunday, Monday and Tuesday turning plays into bmp's, bmp's into uncompressed AVIs, and finally putting it all together.

Since this is my first AVI, there isn't that much editing or special effects. I am sure that with future productions I will include these things. But for now, here it is...

Understood, but look at it this way. [INC] has only been around for 3 months (if that). We have played a total of 22 matches. Thats a 11 maps at 2 weeks for each map (10 because STA and TFL both played mulch_trench during that span). Some of those maps included scrummage, warpath and avanti. Those matches are only mulching and spamming. In my opinion, an offensive AVI is more appealing than a defensive AVI. So there were only about 7 maps in the match footage that I could go through in 3 days of reviewing.

Also, in the title match vs. [GoW] on waterwar, [INC] played a man down for the first round. So that match meant a lot to our clan and to our offense. Playing with 3 o on waterwar was hard (but fun).

But if I had more time and more match footage from [INC], I would have used more of a variety of maps. I only wanted to use match footage as well. Just offering my "explanation"... Thanks though!

i got bored about halfway through, but other than that the quality was pretty good and i liked that it was all match footage.

i know its a pain in the ass, but next time you make an avi i suggest using default/minimal customs, makes it look alot cleaner.

other than running all the way to the cap you could of cut it in yard, we would of got the picture. But good footage, love the logs at the end. gj
