Umm, you do realize MapPoint was designed for that sort of thing. They are not direct competitors; they are both made by Microsoft. If you need some of the extras provided by MapPoint, such as demographics, then by all means go for it.

I seriously doubt anyone on here is going to have an opinion on it. Most people have never used either.
