when I read this censorship BS I can't help but think of the famous words spoken by the vietnam war hero, Colonel Kurtz:

'We train young men to drop fire on people. But their commanders won't allow them to write "fuck" on their airplanes because it's obscene!'

All I know is that when the radio stations in Tulsa were privately owned, they were awesome. Once they started selling to FCC, they started going to crap.

Holy crap I just had an epiphany- I figured out the administration's hidden strategy for winning the GWOT (and all you tree-hugging islamofacist-appeasers say they have none, HA!)!

Per George Bush, the terrorists "hate our freedoms". It's a mighty simple equation, but BushCo has obviously concluded that by administratively removing said freedoms we cannot be harmed in any meaningful way. Ergo, terrorists dry up and blow away. Victory!

Why didn't they just say this up front?

I think i've seen this special before, if it is the one i'm thinking of it's an amazing piece of documentary. It's unfortunate that there's assholes out there that will complain about profanity being used during it. Emphasis on assholes.

another disturbing freedom of speech issue is this mccain-feingold bill which is stripping away any ability to communicate dissent over the TV

I can't think of a better reason NOT to vote for those two imbeciles if either gets nominated by their party.
