This is the second time this week I have seen a article about how the media screwed up in its effort to convict Rove based on the fact that the reporters do not like him. This one sorta amused me.

It's important to note that Armitage was one of the officials in the Bush Administration who thought that the war in Iraq wasn't such a good idea. Apparently Fitzgerald asked him not to say anything and released him from that request just this week. Which begs the question: If Fitzgerald knew who the primary leaker was from the very beginning and from day one knew that he committed no crime, why continue the investigation? This could have very easily been resolved long before a special prosecuter had even been appointed.

this whole thing is very odd..so I'll just take a guess and say he was paid off to be the fall guy.
