Looking for sound .wav files

Hey guys! I am in need of some short sound clips for a new TFC desktop theme I am working on. Maybe even a cool wallpaper? I found everything else I need, but I hate to release a theme without sounds.

Anyone know where I can get any?

if you have software like goldwave, you can actually record the sounds you hear while playing (although i havent tried it in awhile)

also (with software like goldwave) you can just snag the tfc sounds and mix them up a bit (lot of work i imagine)

If you have Steam you can just update the game and extract .wav files from the .gcf using something like VTF Explorer (http://www.hl2source.com/?content=projects&id=vtftool).

Looking for "Armour up" and "Health up" sounds and other short sound clips. Maybe "Need a Medic" and shit like that.
