Anyone know how to make MIDI files sound like NES Nintendo? Like how the guys over at YTMND convert normal sounding midi files into these 8 bit "What Is Love" things?

i don't know much about this kinda stuff but i think you need special MIDI keyboards. Like these (http://www.future-micro.ca/db/home.php?cat=97).

Yea. I'm sure there's a way to make your midi files sound different, the way one computer plays midis differently than another.
For instance, mine plays files like a synth, but my friends computer sounds like a gameboy. That's the sound I'm trying to replicate.
