The trunk of a pinang (betel nut) tree has sprouted a human-like face.

The curves on the five-metre high tree clearly resemble human eyes, teeth and a nose.

The unexplained phenomenon has resulted in the villagers there naming it the "ghost tree".

this reminds me of the "Jesus Tree" that everyone went crazy about around here in the next town over from me, Milford, CT, maybe 8-10 years ago (i'm guessing on the years). someone cut a limb off their tree and the rings inside of it looked like jesus...it was pretty crazy. i know there's some other people from CT that read these boards, but i dont know their ages, so i dunno if any of them would really remember this or not. thousands of people were flocking to some random guys yard to look at the tree or pray or whatever they were doing

We had the face of Mary appear in the wall on the side of a Tim Horton's store here in Baddeck. It was in the news for like a week, all these people standing outside a coffee shop staring at the wall. Then a Jew changed the light bulb and the face disappeared. True story, they made fun of it on Royal Canadian Air Farce (CBC show).
