Do I need to have half life installed?

Also, where can I find infinite rocket mod? Thanks.

You'd need the TFC mod for one..
http://foxbot.planetfortress.gamespy.com/?go=downloads

just read instructions that were included in the file.

www.amxmodx.org for that infinite rockets.

I tried all that, and it doesn't work.

if anything you forgot to edit your liblist.gam, but i'm just taking a guess.

Infinite Rocket Mod:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=5462EJHT

just extract it to your "tfc\dlls" folder (uploaded it because I couldn't find it on amxmodx.org). make sure to back up your TFC.dll, just in case.

as for foxbot, you're on your own. just read over the FAQ and readme, that's how I got it installed :/.

okay so this is what i did, maybe you can help me. i installed (standard) it to my half life directory. (c:/prog files/steam/me/half-life).

I didn't edit my lblist.gam. What do I need to edit my lblist.gam with to make it work?

EDIT: I'm trying to get it to work on my computer, not on my actual server.

As much as I'd like to help, I don't exactly remember how I installed my Foxbot/InfRock thing... I know it involves metamod and the addons folder.

if you're using metamod, you'll have to edit the addons/metamod/plugins.ini

and add this line "win32 ..\FoxBot\FoxBot.dll" (given that you installed the foxbots in the "team fortress classic" folder and not the "TFC" folder.)

if you're not using metamod, then you'd be changing the gamedll in your liblist.gam to this:
gamedll "..\FoxBot\FoxBot.dll"

But this should have been done automatically when foxbots installed.

so just check it to make sure it's correct

doesn't work. i installed it to my half-life and team fortress folder. neither of those work.

I would help, but I just remembered that foxbots completely killed tfc pubbing.

wtf server admins... sigh.

so your directory looks like this?

C:\Program Files\Steam-Down\steamapps\accountname\team fortress classic\tfc

bold being the folder you installed foxbots to?

I'm pretty sure you're gonna need to edit your liblist.gam file, or overwrite your current tfc.dll with the foxbot one, or whatever.

do you have metamod and foxbot installed? if you did the non-metamod install of foxbot i don't think you'll be able to use both infinite rocket mod and foxbot on your listen server.

if you installed metamod and foxbot, make sure your metamod plugins.ini has this line in it:

win32 ../foxbot/foxbot.dll

and make sure your liblist.gam has this line in it:

gamedll "addons/metamod/dlls/metamod.dll"

and finally make sure that your liblist.gam is set to READ-ONLY or else the liblist.gam will reset itself to the regular TFC.DLL.

OK actually I tried installing the infinite rocket mod to no avail (with Foxbot) I renamed the dll infrock.dll and pasted it first in addins then Foxbot and changed the plugins.ini to read to that dll. Has not worked yet. I am confused :(

it's supposed to be called tfc.dll and put into your dlls folder...
