New laptop wut wut

So, I just picked up a Macbook Pro yesterday.

2.16ghz
1gb of ram (gonna put another gig in here soon)
100gb HD

Now, are there any guides available to tweak this baby so it's running at lightspeed? Thanks...

Also, I'm contemplating whether to install bootcamp or not. I don't really play any games anymore, and almost all of the applications I use are available for OSX. Would it really be worth it?

I have bootcamp installed.
There's basically no advantage unless you really need to play pc-only games or things like p2p and torrents. There are no good mac torrent clients.

As far as tweaks to make it run at light speed? lol, next time don't buy a mac.

but no honestly, if you got a 2.16 core 2 duo, it should already be lightning fast to begin with. the only thing that would prevent it from running the way you expect it to, would be the video card. other than that, its a pretty darn good setup, nice buy.

i just purchased a asus s96j with a 1.86ghz core 2 duo, 1 gig memory, 100gig HD. it has a ati x1600 256mb card in it. runs anything the hl engine can throw at it. =)
