So it seems like every 20 min or so my pc has been crashing, when I send the error report to windows this is what i get

i've already talked to a few people about it already here are some things i've already done/tried
cleaned up ALL virii/spyware
checked to see if it was overheating - wasn't
updated video card drivers
updated monitor drivers
resat/cleaned video card
Other stuff that might be important:
Monitor is a 19 inch LCD running 1280x1024 @ 60Hz (default/recommended mode)
Video card: GeForce FX 5700LE
any suggestions/solutions?

it's that blue screen where it says windows has shutdown to prevent damage to your computer, it does so without any warning/freezing etc. and doesn't seem to be triggered by anything I have noticed.

well i tried to update my mobo drivers and found something that causes the error. when the USB driver initializes the actual install it happens. I did however update the audio, chipset, and LAN drivers.

make sure your desktop htz and game htz are the same, the thread error tells me your drivers are altered. Reformat!

have you tried putting a different video card in your computer? if you can.. try doing that

Use the event viewer to isolate the issue, you may have a corrupt USB device driver. Try uninstalling the USB controller and let it reinstall. You can also try the device manager and see if there are any errors there.

well one thing i'd liek to try is a windows repair followed by formatting but my cd isnt here, i have a legitimate copy of XP home anyone know how i could get a copy of a cd or something?

every 2 minutes or so 2 of these errors show up 30 seconds apart
