I've been having a problem with my cable connection these days. I'm in California and every night around 7pm~midnight, my internet connection gets really slow. I've never had this problem before, but it's been happening for about 2 weeks now.
Would reformatting help?(I really don't want to, but I guess I will if I have to)
Thanks in advance

what kind of pings do you get to servers?

If it only happens about 7pm, I would call them and get them to run some tests. It sounds like its on ur ISP's end if it only happens at 7. If it happens a lot now, It could be your router.

During day time(when the connection is fine), I get anywhere from 50~90 depending on the server. But at night, around 7~12 like I said, my ping jumps up to 150~220. Ya it happens every night and I'm laggin right now too. I'm gonna give them a call tomorrow. Thanks guys.

most likely they won't be able to do anything..they'll just blame you or something in your house..but it will be their fault.
they usually only give refunds/discounts if your Internet is completely dead for a day or two..or if you threaten to move to another ISP.
