Beck - The Information

Got the album and video album (videos for all the songs) from itunes today. Since I am a HUUUUGE Beck fan, I was dying to hear this album. Although Sea Change and Guero sucked, I was happy to hear a new sound. The album flows really well and sounds like a mix of early mellow gold mets odelay. The videos (included with the cd purchase) are classic Beck. I know most people have nonmainstream metal tastes in here, but check out beck's new album. Hell it has been the second album I have actually purchased in the last 5 years (he deserved my actualy money and not a freebie download).

soooo... its more rockin'? or is it funky-fresh-hip-hop with that oh so sexy country twang? i kinda stopped listening to beck after mutations (which is awesome), are there any more albums of his worth picking up, post mutations?

how dare you say Sea Change and Guero sucked, there were some incredible tracks on both of those

Odelay and Sea Change are his best I think (I haven't heard Mutations or Mellow Gold). I thought Guero and this new one are alright. They just sort of seem like he was going for the Odelay sound, only with less success. Still some good songs on both.
