Ok, well i think i figured out when .. but i still have no idea why/how! First let me start off with the background!

So me being the dumbass that i am, renewed my virus protection to CA Security (no that isnt the dumb part) well after running spyware AND virus scans it showed i had 4 spyware and 2 viruses .. so not knowing the software well enough to kno how to deal with that i simply went into the folder it showed me it was in and deleted the files that were infected...

I have done this before and nothing wrong has happened but now everytime i try to "Attach" a file to an e-mail on yahoo.com i get "BAD_HEADER_POOL" blue screen of death and my computer restarts! What have i done?!?!

try to do a system restore.

Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> System tools and see if that fixes it.

ok so i tried that .. and it seemed to work for a little bit. But now after reinstalling the anti-virus software, weird stuff is still at play. So i cant see any videos on youtube/myspace or see/hear any of the songs on myspace. I dont kno what is wrong, but im tired of going back to restore and reinstalling everything again.

HELP :(

Format and reinstall windows. The amount of time you've already wasted on bandaid solutions like system restore is about 100x more than the time formatting and resintalling + getting drivers would have taken.

before you format, make sure your copy of windows is legit. you won't easily be able to do windows updates without a legit key.

all you'll really need is drivers for your hardware (video, audio, motherboard, network card etc) and make sure you have your original driver disc from your motherboard. depending on your chipset you might need to install those before installing updated ones. you could download other things too like directx, winrar, steam installer, whatever messenger clients you use, irc etc.

and porn/mp3s, yeah.
