I'm running into a steam problem where after I quit a game that's connected over the internet, I am unable to get to any website, but I am able to stay on vent and mirc and talk/chat all I want. I guess the problem finally resolves itself in around 1-2 minutes, but it's really annoying and if something is setup wrong I don't want it to escalate from its current condition. Fyi, this happens to any computer on my network (i use a wireless router) and it seems the entire network just can't get to a website for 1-2 minutes.

Any ideas? It's a netgear wireless router, I'm plugged directly into it.

have you tried sneaking up behind your Internet and scaring it?

That use to happen in residence last year, if you were connected to irc/msn you could talk, but if you tried to sign in or view a website you couldnt. Sorry, no solution for you -=*(

i dunno if youre talking to me
but my solution for hiccups is so weird
i rub 1 of my earlobes, and they go away
i didnt find this out on my own. i had them really bad at a restaurant and like
this woman next to us shared her remedy
and it worked first try, it was so weird

the surest way to cure hiccups is through digital rectal massage.

As already mentioned: try updating the firmware on the router.
