Both games look fucking INTENSE. I never heard of either of them until I picked up this computer gaming magazine for the train ride downtown.
Hellgate London is a first person shooter, with rpg elements (loot/armor, leveling etc..) the graphics look beyond intense..the story line has something to do with demons taking over london.

Gods and Heroes being back during the time of gladiators and all those cool mythological gods etc... MMO with PVE, PVP, and commanding armies to fight against each other (from what I understand). Graphics look fun and you fight stuff like 3 headed dragons, cyclops, medusa etc...Pretty much along the lines of titanquest but way cooler looking.

yah...supposidly hellgate london the maps are generated each time you join the game (like d2) so you never really can memorize what you're doing.

I've been watching HG:L for more than a year now. Both trailers are killer and I', pretty psyched about it. It looks like "Dark Messiah"ish in terms of gameplay. Let's hope it's more stable.

I'm not sure what you mean...I've never played the original NWN, so maybe I'm missing something?

sweet :)I'm not sure what you mean...I've never played the original NWN, so maybe I'm missing something?a persistent world is like a multiplayer nwn world. each one is different because its usually developed and maintained by the server owner. they are meant for role playing on, usually. they have big plots and special events etc. it's fun if you like hanging around a bunch of socially inept middle aged nerds, since thats almost all of the nwn player base.
since it's based on d&d, it's only really fun if you roleplay.. otherwise it's pretty boring.

hm, interesting. can you access the persistent worlds without a valid cd key?only if they're a cracked server too.
but nwn and all the expansions is like $20.
as for nwn2.. it hasnt been out long enough for any worthwhile pws to exist yet.. so no, you can't without a key but there isnt much point anyway.
