Does anyone know how many units (PS3's) are going to be shipped to stores? like how many to best buy's etc. i remember seeing a link on the catts this time last year about how many 360's were going to be at each best buy.

I think it depends on the store... my best buy said 8 at the most.

I'm not 100% sure, but I'm pretty sure the Gamestop I work at only took 10-15 preoders.

I just saw an article on Digg today saying that Best Buy is only getting half as many as they originally thought they were going to get.

i called best buy and they said they arent taking any pre-orders and it will be a first come first serve basis.

Yea, I think all the pre-orders are gone now. If you really want a PS3 at launch you better be prepared to camp out a while for it.

i only want to get one so i can sell it for 1500 + on ebay. PS3 has no good games that i would want. 360 has all the games. i just wanna make money

I think the majority of people who snagged up preorders and trying to get one on release don't even want the damn thing. Unfortunately there are people stupid enough to put down an insane amount of money for one. I'd rather get a nice large HDTV than drop that amount of money on a gaming console.
