Final Fantasy III

Picked it up yesterday and played it today.

It's a nice lil' game for ds. I've never played the original (the translation of it that was on emulator, this is the first time III has been released in USA for people who dont know)

Definately an old skool rpg.

Loose directions to your next objective and all.

I like how you actually have a party, instead of 4 random characters, although, so far, the story has been quick fast and to the point.

Oh, and when i say it's an old skool rpg, i mean it's one of those "you go here an do this, if you venture to the wrong spot, you die"

..... i mean, in the first half an hour, i randomly found this place i wasnt supposed to go; and my party got wiped the fuck off the face of the earth. They didnt die, they got wiped the fuck off the face of the earth .

It's kool though, nice to have an old skool rpg to play.

So far it's so good, but im not really gunna dive into it until i fnish the other rpg im playing

so i finally got the hang of the game; once again, i was getting wrecked because i was undereqipped (that seems to be my theme in rpgs this month, my TotA still doesnt count)

...... but apparently i was gettin raped in the intro of the game. GG!

yeah, it's pretty depressing.

I went through like, i dunno how many rpgs without dying

5 without dying, and its just, while i was playing this, i was under equipped and got wiped the fuck off the face of the earth. I wasnt even underleveled, either, just underequiped.

My death in Tales of the Abyss was worse though, cause it was like, a boss fight. And I thought i just had a bad strat or something, cause there were 3 enemies, and one was a mage who just raped my shit with a "altered" spells (i'd have to explain the game a little), but i went back and bought a sword cause i hadnt bought one in that point in the game, went back, and packed their shit and have breezed through the game since then. :/

Yes, this is for the DS and this one was never officially released in America. Japanese versions: 3 - this one, 6 - the badass one with Kefka,etc.

Ok, that looks confusing to read, so ill break down the number system for people who dont know

the US FF2 on SNES = the easy verison of FF4
the US FF3 on SNES = FF6 (dunno if it's an easy version or not)
the US FF3 on DS (the one we're all talkin about = The real FF3. D:

22 hours in and just got my invincible ship! Need to find this final earth fang then I have no idea where I got to go. Probably 75% the way in and I've got to say probably the most fun I've had on my DS yet.

Goku just wait till your first encounter with the guy who turns into a giant red dragon...one of the hardest fights I've been up against in ff3

Definitely got 3-4 more hours in. The bosses get easier as you go along (only grinded once or twice to beat a boss but most the time it's the job combinations which enable easy boss fights).

you have to enter it from the bottom left tip
