Finally, got my hands on the long awaited sequel to one of the best mario games, Yoshi's Island (not to be confused with the abomination known as Yoshi's Story on 64..... the singing still haunts me :( )
Anywho, I've played about half of the first world right now, didnt spend too much time with this yet cause i've been busy.
In a nutshell, this game is pretty much is a sequel to Yoshi's Island, like it's supposed to be. There are a few new gimmicks; the new babies (havent gotten any yet, so i cant comment), and the dual screen. The dual screen is nice, but it takes getting used to if you dont play alot of dual screen games on ds. Although I've had my ds for a few months, i havent had a game that uses both screens at the same time, so its akward for me to be walking on the bottom screen and then look at the top screen to notice a "?" cloud floating up there.
It's still kool though. Nice game. IMO, if you liked the original yoshi's island (or the remake on gba) hop on this when you can.
