I honestly dont think it's worth bringing back. As of late, i've seen a "few" people intersted, but nowhere near as many as there was when the league started, and no where near as many when the league died.

There were actually quite a few people interested in it, but alot of people wouldnt commit to it for many reasons.

I honestly say it will take alot more interest than what you probably can get in here for adl-5v5 to get kicked off and running. I dont think there was a week that went by where every team had 5 players. And it's not like it was a bunch of ctf teams; many of the teams were a/d based.

You must not notice the dying interest in a/d as a whole.

and you know, i'll ride off the fact that me being a "negative nancy" must mean that i must just have a whole ngative outlook on the whole idea. That i never cared about it, and that I'm just some random "naysayer" who has no clue of the whole situation.

Fact of the matter is, i know that some of the clans that were in "active" in 5v5 when it died said they have no interest in it. It's a good assessment to say nobody cared much about the league after the first batch of familiar maps.

Typical 5v5 cycle:
week 1: Title shot vs. team that forfeits.
week 2: Lose to rot, badly.
Repeat.

PmP will be back we need more tfc to play, but if it does i think we need to have a rotation of know maps that are played a lot. As much as i liked what dogy tried to do with the rotation, playing tf_aztec, creek_x and that one ctf map that i'm blanking on right now, playing thoes maps killed the league, most people don't like to learn new maps. If 5v5 is going to live you need a rotation like

5v5 ADL died for a reason. It had its moments but they passed by quickly with all the constant forfeits. There was tremendous interest for the first go around but that interest didn't translate to dedication as one team after another died. There aren't enough teams or active players to keep the league going so it becomes a waste of clan/admin times who would put forth the effort to try and make it succeed.

even if teams did have enough players, they usually had at least one ringer. The scheduled map was played around 75% of the time. Nobody really cared or took it seriously.
Although I did probably have the most forfeits due to not submitting scores in time than any team.
