Guitar Hero II

How does it compare to the first? I'm holding off on getting it for the PS2 as the 360 version is due next year (and the 360 axe is so sexy http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/f/f5/Guitarhero2-xplorer.jpg)

And what's YYZ like on Expert?

It has a much longer song list than the first. There are some great songs (all of tier 6, freebird, sweet child of mine, etc) and some shitty songs (a lot of the rest of the game). The bonus songs so far don't compare to the Guitar Hero 1 bonus songs, too many metal songs, but if you like metal than you'll like it.

YYZ on expert is fairly hard the first one-two tries, but after you get the timing down it's pretty easy. It's really good though, and a great co-op song.

The hammer-ons and pull-offs are much easier in GHII, but overall the difficulty of the songs has increased.
