Playstation 3 Error

So me and my friends are trying to log on to multiplayer for Call of duty 3 and everytime we try to join a game it says "Cannot connect to other players" We made a game and 1 other person joined, but why are we unable to join other games....

it's not the ps3 it's a common issue on CoD3 it has the same prob on the x360. im sure it's a server side error,i've heard by forwarding the needed ports it requires would fix the prob but after tying that it still didn't work. So you're not alone with the problem.

its prolly b/c ps3 online play blows. xbox live > all.

although that may be true,but i was commenting on my experience with the x360 CoD3. so it's not only the ps3 version,it's a known issue with both 360 and ps3. it's not only ps3 it's also live which im leaning more towards activision's serverside. i also get the same problem when trying to play lost planet multiplayer only way to play is creating game and let players join. leaving me unable to join servers with the same errors of CoD3. those are the only 2 so far i had probs with.

Are you using a router? If so try plugging the ps3 directly into your DSL or Cable connection.

tried that,still unable to connect..i read on the xboxlive forums and cod3 forums for x360 and ps3 and there are quite of bit other people who are having the same issue but it seems it's a select few of around 20-30 others are in the same boat. A solution hasn't been found yet..
