Active desktop. help me add, rss feeds, google searchbar, email display.

Im running an xml active desktop. I wanted to know if anyone knew how to insert a google search bar, display my new emails, and display rss feeds on my desktop. This is what i currently have now.

i have xml_parser.js, function.js editme.xml which are the files that get edited to make changes to the desktop.

I'm sure it can all be done. The google search bar should be pretty easy I think. RSS/Email would be more difficult. I'll have to look at the code. I'm not that familiar with ActiveX, but there are ways to retrieve almost any information on your computer (or other website) and have it displayed in your xml / javascript / etc. file.

thanks, i saw in the original thread some code for a google bar but it wouldnt work at all for mine.

I'm sure it's possible, but I didn't add that functionality into the current release of my desktop.

i got the google thing working. I have no clue how i would make it check my email account thought.
