Deer warning!

With hunting season here, I have almost hit deer (with my car)on several occasions last week alone! Every single day I make my 48 mile venture to or from work I usually spot at least one a day.

A friend of mine E-Mailed me these pics of what can happen when a Chevy Trailblazer meets a deer at 70MPH.........................

Formula 1 driver, Stefan Johansson, nicknamed "The Deer Hunter"

A deer that wandered from nearby woods onto the race track at the Oesterreichring race course in Zeltweg, Austria, during practice runs yesterday for the Austrian Grand Prix tomorrow was struck head-on and killed by a Formula One car driven by Stefan Johansson of Sweden. Although the car burst into flames and repeatedly hit the barrier while skidding down the track after the accident, the driver of the McLaren-TAG racer was not injured.

This guy hit it at nearly 180mph and his racecar was probably not as stiff as an SUV so quit complaining :D That's the only picture I could find:

ok i have a story.

So i was driving to my friends house a few days ago, he lives on the seclusive, rich road and in the beginning of the road there were no street lights. It was pretty damn foggy out too. So i started turning onto a bend and all of a sudden i see like 6 deer in the middle of the road...i had just enough time to slow down because I wasnt going too fast, and i pretty much stopped right in front of all the deer, but they were a little to the right of the car. So, the deer all started to scamper and all but two ran towards the woods or tall grass. The other two decided to run right at my car... one dumbass deer actually ran right into my driver side door and made a huge thud and fell down on the pavement...i was so amazed at how stupid this deer was because I was fully stopped, then i couldnt help but laugh out loud. So the deer gets up and runs away, and i just casually drove off...then it hit me...A FUCKING DEAR JUST HIT ME! I told my friends and I was way too excited about it.

So it must be true that deer run straight into the headlights of a car
