Sup guys! I was wondering if anyone here has experience in screen printing. I'm looking into screen printing a 1 color half-wrap-around design on a hoodie. Any tips, suggestions, or things i should know before i headout to a craft store and burn a hole in my wallet?

i made a few t-shirts screenprinting over the summer. i guess what i learned is you dont really need to invest all that money in the kits. if you can build the buy the mesh and its frame yourself it would save money, but i think all you need is the screen (framed) and the big rubber squeegee thing (and ink obviously) idk if i did it right but basically all i did was
- made prints on acetate
- stretched the shirts/sweatshirts on carboard and made sure they were flat
- centered the mesh with the acetate print layed under it
- poured some ink on the mesh and ran the big rubber squeegee over it a few times.
they all came out fine, but obviously the hardest part was making clean prints. as long as you dont move the mesh/print it should work well, good luck
