i want to start paintball but i dont want to spend a lot of money on a gun/gear just incase I give up at it after a while. What gun would you reccomend. Most I want to spend is around $200, but it would be nice to go for less.

shutter is an excellent guy to start with. it runs about 175 - 200 if i remember correct, but expect to spend money on a mask, tank, various little things (gauges if you need them, hopper (if you get an electric). in the long run though you'll spend a lot on paint. its not really a cheap sport (especially if your going to courses and not playing at a "home made" course). my best advice would be get to know the guys at the local place if you have to go there and get discounts if you can. find out if theyll ever let you play for free certain hours

depends on what kind of paintball that u are trying to get into if u want to play speed ball i would say a smart parts ion its a 200$ electric gun but then u would have to run it on compressed air witch that would set u back about 50$ more for a cheap compressed air tank and prolly another 50 for a decent hopper
if u are trying to get into like playing in backyards and in the woods i would reccomend a tippman they seem to be very reliable and a good marker to start with
