Got to hear my TWINS heartbest for the first time...

We went in for a 9 week ultrasound a few weeks ago, and saw the heartbeatS for the first time. Today, we went in for a 12 week ultrasound... and we got to hear BOTH of them for the first time. It was like a drum majors halftime show in there.

Seeing the heartbeats for the first time was very surreal. Hearing them was even moreso. This is one of the happiest days of my life :)

Congrats. Wait until they are born. i was pretty excited about hearing my son's heartbeat for the first time. It sounds like a train is coming because its so faint at first and then as the doctor moves around the mic, it gets louder and louder.

My son was born 6 weeks ago and i was doing good with the birth until they pulled him out and put him on his mother's belly and i lost it. I'll never forget the moment when he looked up at me for as long as i live.

Having kids is really the best experience I've ever had. Even though I'm tired all the time and don't get to do all the social things I used to, it's worth every minute.

I was terrified for a while about a week ago, my gf was showing all the early signs of pregnency. Thank God she started, no way in hell I'm ready to have kids. I don't know how you guys can manage it.

i have 3 sons but when my first one was born i was only 19 and i have never been so scared in my life. by the time the 3rd one was born i think i could have delivered(sp?)him myself lol. but ya congrats to all the new dads and soon to be dads!
