throat phlegm remedies

I've had some phlegm stuck in the back of my throat for about a day now. But no matter how much I eat/drink/clear my throat, it won't go away :( Any special remedies I can take to get rid of this crap? It's soooo annoying :(

if you've tried to get it out really hard, and its still there, then it could be that theres nothing there. and you just have an inflamed thoat or tracheal tube

take one, you'll be hacking up gross shit for like 10-20 minutes and then you'll be cool

i forget what it's called though, but check your local pharmacy / ask a pharmacist

while were on the subject, i lost my voice last night, I've been sucking on cough drops and currently i have a nice hot tea with lemon, is there anything else i can do to get my voice back in time to wish people a happy new year?
