Vomit stains

Had my 21st birthday power hour in the Stratosphere. Remember going up, but don't remember coming back down.

Needless to say I got some stains on my nice new outfit I bought the day before. Mostly cotton/poly. Any tips?

Try to remove excess vomit by running the stain under cold water - flip it inside out to rinse it from the back, then soak the clothing in warm, sudsy water for half an hour to an hour. Then apply a stain stick (I have a spray bottle of oxyclean for stain removal) and wash according to the directions on the tag.

make sure you use cold water for the first rinse, hot water will make the stain much more permanent.

Wash vigorously by hand, then by machine.

Check it BEFORE you dry it. If using a dryer. If it doesn't look clean, repeate cleaning. If you run it through a dryer, it will damn near have to wear off.

if its a white shirt, hydrogen paroxide works well, cause thats what i use to get blood and vomit out of my labcoats at work
