hud on or off

do you guys think huds are better in avis or worse.

I personoally like them on it shows if its a match or not and makes it feel more ingame like.

i dont like huds or xhairs in like tricks or whatever, but w/ match footage i'd say include the hud (sometimes some plays are nice because of how much health you have left, cant see it without a hud ;p ). i dont know, just my two cents (centavos).

i think huds should be off cause it grabs your attention and you start watching everything around the screen and making you miss the plays.

eh, depends on if there's a point to having a hud, and if the hud isnt like, big and cluttered.

I honestly dont mind either way, but I really cant stand any mm with huds on. Death messages are aight, if you're getting like, kills behind walls and all.

Other than that, it just comes down to personal preference.

Oh, and HLTV hud? - definate off.

i would say it depends on the purpose of the avi. if u are trying to focus on editing and a nice looking avi, leave it off because it is generally ugly, distracting, and looks shitty when compressed or when the resolution is converted. if for some reason u are trying to get an ego boost by proving it was an official internets league match.. then leave it on, but u could still turn it off and overlay the clan tags POTW style.

If you look at the "good" avis you'll notice that most of them do not have a hud. I think the hud only adds more unnecessary/distracting elements, so I vote no. But if you are more concerned about the skill involved in the avi, leaving the hud on is probably the way to go.
