You just made me so nostalgic its not even funny. I lived in Rome for 5 months and saw all of those places. What were you doing in Colliano? Thats in the middle of nowhere and i was there for a week with my girlfriend. Her aunt lives there. By all means post more.

My boyfriends dad is from Colliano, so we visited an uncle. It would be funny if your gf's aunt was someone we met (we went around meeting some people). We also took a detour to nearby Teora to dig into my family history - believe it or not, with a little bit of info (and a COMMON last name) we found long lost family =)

If you met her, she is probably the only woman there who's first language isn't Italian. Her heritage is Italian, but she was born in the US. There is a bakery is Colliano which has the BEST bread i have ever had in my life.
