Interesting
I'm glad they're keeping SG's relatively the same and not doing something stupid (ie a 4th level sentry gun or some bs)

Levels 2 and 3 look fucking stupid.

the level 2 and 3 look the same except for the rockets on top. Level 3 should be totally different .. maybe except for the base.

i think those who are expecting a little more diferentiation between lvl's two and three should make an attempt to understand that the engineer is building off of his existing sentry when upgrading it. makes more sense then having a completely different looking and functioning sentry gun flip into life the moment the ng clangs his wrench on it.

They look good but they don't look anywhere near good enough to redeem the other gay qualities of this game.

they look good just i dont see how a nailgun is going to hurt a level 2 or 3 when the nails themselves won't hit jackshit

voice in Jake's head: Oh, nauf posted. He's probably going to make some comment about how tf2 sucks.

I don't think pics are going to do this justice. Looks like there will be animations showing the transitions during an upgrade. You can already see this when the engy builds the sentry gun in the video. Just another level of polish and detail in the game.

I personally can't wait for tf2 to launch. The community is going to be ginormous and even though the classes might not be what we are used to from TFC ie soldiers vs medics. I just can't wait to jump back into the team fortress playing style. Right now I am playing dod:s and I am having a lot of fun but it is just missing the creativity that the TF game play allows.

Level 3 looks like the guy spent hours doing the base/barrels and did the rocket launcher part in 10 seconds lol. Probably aren't final versions.
2 and 3 should look cool in-game swiveling around with ammo belts feeding and shells flying out the back. The belt positioning reminds me of those flaps cobras have.

agreed, you should come play dystopia if you're looking for a good source mod.

they just updated it a little while ago, and now theres new weapons and the game appears to be balanced better. Plus the new models and skins look alot better.
