i'd change the header but other than that i like it.

i like how simple it is, I'm actually working on mine too right now

It has 2 different color schemes being thrown around right now so it looks a little odd with the green and blues. I slowly switching it over to the blues and only the Home/Skills page works.

We know it's navigation. You don't need to remind us. The internet has been around for a while now, we get how it works. k?

the n0r has a personal vendetta against using the word "navigation" when displaying navigation options.

yes, because it's pointless.

If it were my site, I'de change the smaller font to a simpler one, and make the giant V something like just plain Times New Roman.

yay! i <3 motion graphics! be sure to update us when its up. whatever you do, make sure your reel is accessible from the front page. nothings worse than having to dig through a website for someones reel. =( oh and keep your reel under a minute, we dont want your lifestory =P

good call, nine. make sure your name is prominent throughout. its better for the user to remember whos resume they're looking at rather than the section they were in.

your reel placement feels awkward.
dammit corey, make your name more prominent

yeah that's incredibly awkward.

Seperate your portfolio link into something like 'print' 'demo reel' and have it display in the same space that everything else does. If you want me, the viewer to be sure to see watch it do it in flash and have some sort of message fade away and instantly start playing your reel as the homepage.

Your 'home' is your resume'? call it resume.

You still have navigation on the top and I'm still not retarded. remove it.

I don't care that you have goals to buy things (me wants to own a mac! in resume), neither does anyone else. It's a tool not a lifestyle.

And I would also make the width of your live area a little wider. That's built for what 640x480?

And as someone else said, make your name more prominent. I wasn't even sure if it was on there at all till I found your e-mail address... so technically it might not be.

Scrolling through this thread at high speed and seeing myself whip by every other second is kind of unsettling.

I really don't think the bottom of BELLEWDESIGN should be cut off in that header.

Griffith-
March 9th, 2007, 12:55 PM

Griffith-
March 9th, 2007, 11:47 PM
