noob 360 question

I just got a360 and was wondering about the HD size. Mine shows smaller than the 20GB advertised. Is this normal? Is it full of ms crap that I can delete?

Or am I just being a picky bitch..

Most HD's come pre-loaded with some videos and game demos. Delete them and it'll free up that space you're talking about.

On a side note the ability to download full blown demos is probably one of the best things out there.

its not a big deal anyways, ive had mine for a year almost now and i prolly still have 11gigs.

I'd say there was about 15 gig free. But hell, I've never bought a HD that had the posted amount on it.

And yes, I haven't even bought a game yet. playing demos to see what I like.
I'm not real worried about it, I'm not going to put music or any of that other crap. Just demos and saved games.

20 GB hard drive = 20000MBs
Actual GB = 1024MB

1024x20 != 20000

So, you can see why the posted size is never the actual size.

OK, with all the garbage (almost all) off it is only about 15 GB. I suspect the system may be using the onther 5?
